STATEMENT  

My medium of using oil on wood with antique postcards and the language of words, lends my paintings not only to be visual but verbal as well... 

visual, in their historical contrast from the present to the past causing the viewer to mentally step back in time... 

verbal, by enticing the viewer's imagination with words into wondering what was the world like then?  Perhaps picturing themselves as living in that time period with family, a friend or alone.

That is why I paint.  In the journey of imagination, there are no limits.  The possibilities of exploring life on canvas are endless.  Hopefully, when the viewer in turn looks at my paintings, their imagination will also be limitless in enjoying images of the world.
