ATOMIC BOMB
Trinity Site, in White Sands National Monument, Alamogordo, New Mexico, is where the first atomic bomb was tested July 16, 1945. A few weeks later it was  detonated  over Japan, Hiroshima, August 6th, and then Nagasaki, August 9th. The use of the atomic bomb continues to trouble our nation’s conscience. However debated, and whatever the outcome of those moral debates, the end result will always stand... it ended the war!
