ILLEGAL LOGGING
Illegal logging is a pervasive problem causing enormous damage to forests and destroying them at a devastating rate, which is the natural habitat for birds as well as for other species.  These habitats are necessary for breeding success and survival.  Most of the illegal logging in the world is in - the Amazon Basin, Central Africa,  Southeast Asia and the eastern part of Russia.  Ornithologists tell us that the bird population is alarmingly declining because the ecosystem that provides nutrients for them is being destroyed, their homes are vanishing, and they are vanishing as well !
